Oeko-Tex Standard 100
The materials are independently tested for harmful substances – important for a mask worn against the skin for hours.
Issued by: Hohenstein Textile Testing Institute (OEKO-TEX)
The PREMIUM FFP2 YOU-M4 is made on our lines in Bad Dürrheim in the Black Forest, from materials sourced in Germany. DEKRA monitors production on an ongoing basis, and you buy direct from the manufacturer.

From nonwoven to master carton, every step stays in our hands. That is why we can document what every mask is made of and how it was tested. Filmed in 2021 on our former lines in Berlin; today we manufacture in Bad Dürrheim.
The filter nonwoven comes from suppliers in Germany and is tested for harmful substances to Oeko-Tex Standard 100. It runs off the roll into the line as one continuous web.
Several layers of nonwoven are brought together. Together they form the filter, which achieves at least 94% filtration as the FFP2 standard requires.
Every mask has its marking printed directly on it: protection class, standard and the identification number of the notified body. That is how you recognise a genuine, tested FFP2 mask at a glance.
Two ear loops with stretch function are attached to every mask. They give a little, so the mask stays comfortable through a long shift.
Staff take masks straight off the line and check them with their own eyes. On top of that, DEKRA monitors ongoing production as an independent body.
Every mask for the box gets its own film wrapping. Even in an opened box on the ward, it stays hygienic until it is put on. The Big Pack holds 100 masks without individual wrapping, so they are quick to take out.
The individually wrapped masks go into the printed box, today 25 per box. You can order from a single box upwards.
Finally the boxes are packed into the master carton by hand, today 27 boxes holding 675 masks. Packed like this, your order usually ships on the day you place it.
All eight steps in one go, just under two minutes with no narration. Click a number to start the film at that step.
