Accessibility
This English version is provided for convenience. The German version is legally binding.
Our website and online shop should be usable by everyone, including with a screen reader, keyboard or magnification. Here we explain how we achieve this, as required by Section 14 of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and its Annex 3.
Our service
On www.yourmask-berlin.de we offer FFP2 masks from our own production. You can view the packs, add them to the cart and order them, use a customer account, contact us via forms, apply for jobs and withdraw from a contract online. You complete your order and payment in the checkout that Shopify provides for us.
How we meet the requirements
We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, referenced by the harmonised standard EN 301 549. In detail:
- Every page has a clear structure with headings and regions (header, navigation, content, footer) and is marked as German or English so that screen readers pronounce it correctly.
- A “Skip to content” link bypasses the navigation. All functions can be operated by keyboard, and the focus is visible.
- Images that convey information have a text alternative; purely decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Form fields are labelled, required fields are marked and errors are explained at the field.
- If you have set “Reduce motion” on your device, animations and video loops do not play. Videos never play with sound automatically.
- Text can be enlarged with the browser's own tools without losing content.
The checkout, the customer account sign-in and the YouTube video player are provided by Shopify and Google respectively; we have only limited influence on their design.
Status
We checked the website for accessibility ourselves during its development in October 2026 and check it again whenever we make changes. If you come across a barrier, please let us know and we will fix it as quickly as possible.
Contact
You can reach us by email at info@yourmask-berlin.de, by phone on +49 30 46 79 59 83 or via the contact form. If a barrier prevents you from ordering online, we will gladly take your order by email or phone.

The authority responsible for compliance with the BFSG is the Marktüberwachungsstelle der Länder für die Barrierefreiheit von Produkten und Dienstleistungen (MLBF), Carl-Miller-Straße 6, 39112 Magdeburg, Germany, email kontakt@mlbf-barrierefrei.de.
